The PathHunter BMPR1B/ACVR2B Dimerization cell line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting receptor-receptor interaction. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. BMP-6) induced dimerization of BMPR1B/ACVR2B receptors. This product uses EFC technology. The cell line included overexpresses ACVR2B target protein fused to PK alongside BMPR1B target protein fused to EA. Upon ligand-induced dimerization of BMPR1B/ACVR2B, detectable EFC signal is produced. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged PTGER4 and EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2. Activation of PTGER4 stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal. Human herpesvirus 3 has applications in infectious disease research.

This cell line enables assessment of chaperone-based stabilization of KCNH2(G601S) via detection of rescued membrane trafficking. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged mutant KCNH2(G601S), which is misfolded and retained in the ER. The cell line also expresses membrane-localized EA. When a pharmacochaperone stabilizes the mutant KCNH2, it is trafficked to the membrane, producing EFC signal. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells.
